My son is 11 and he knows that when I’m sick, he has to take care of himself. I don’t let him cook, but he knows how to go and heat up a hotdog(microwave), or grab some cereal or something. I drag myself up only for dinner!lol

I started my daughter early and at 12 she can cook, bake, do laundry, mow the lawn, and do anything else in the house. I told her if I can’t do it she’ll have to do it there is “no if ands or buts about it.”
