All mothers absolutely have it tough, and non-supportive husbands can be a thing.

But.

While I’m sure that’s maddening, you’re not the only person with the responsibility for those young lives in your care. It’s not all on you all the time. And you do get help, a bit, with a husband that works – money is then less of a worry. Maybe not ‘no’ worry, but less of one, and that’s a burden you can share. Parenting alone, you have to handle all of that aspect as well.

So, its difficult. There are extra challenges. That isn’t to negate your own as a married mother, but it definitely doesn’t mean you’re going through the same thing.

They may not tell you everything that has happened with their husbands, but a lot of the times their husbands don’t lift a damn finger. All mothers need a break. This article was great until you started putting married moms against single moms. I don’t love my husband. He is lazy, doesn’t lift a finger when he gets home. Being a single mother you know you have to do it all, but being a married mother you would THINK that both parents would split some of the chores and that’s not always the case. All mothers suffer. ALL MOTHERS. Whether it be by the way we look or how we no longer matter. I understand why you hate being a single mother, but I hate being a mother to 1 child and a full grown adult. And what about women with husbands who deploy? They do everything in their own while he’s gone and then so,e while he’s adjusting. You’re so one sided, it makes me sick.

What gets me are the married women whose husbands go away on a business trip then look at me and go Im like a single mom too, I do it all by myself when he is gone. I just bite my tongue.

To making dinner…. Cleaning out the garage… The yard…. The house…the homework…..the sports…. The discipline…. The grocery shopping…. You probably get it. Can’t stop… Must keep moving…
