When I first became unemployed it felt as though my world was crashing down all around me. Somehow we have survived. Our bills have gotten paid, I have kept a roof over our heads and managed to maintain most of our lifestyle. I think my biggest concern was that my kids were going to be majorly affected by the dramatic change in income. Learning to live frugally saved me from letting this happen. My children's lives have not changed at all, except for the fact that they have the pleasure of mom being home with them every day.
