Crowdtap: Make Extra Money and Help Others Too
If you’re looking for another way to earn a little extra cash, sign-up for Crowdtap. They make it really simple to register, because you just have to connect to your Facebook account. I also found that racking up points is pretty easy to just answer a few questions and the points begin to roll in.
I had the opportunity to interview Brandon Evans Founder and CEO at Crowdtap.com and he gave me a little behind the scenes view of what this company is all about. If you haven’t heard of Crowdtap it’s a new private data website that allows you to earn cash as well as contribute to the charity of your choice by completing polls and discussions; basically sharing your influence and opinion with major brands.
I joined this site myself a couple days ago and it’s really fun to do and very simple to navigate. I’ve added a screenshot of my page below so you can see what it’s all about.
Right now Crowdtap is an early beta, but will launch to the public early next year. There are currently three charities to choose from, where you can give 5% of your earnings. The rest of the money earned can be cashed out for a $25 Amazon.com gift card. So you have the added benefit of giving back as well is receiving great samples and cash for being an influential person.
Other features of crowd include the ability to earn badges different levels and a high-quality score. Ranking high in these three areas makes you more attractive to brands, which would approach you for testing new products, services, and hosting parties.
One of the best parts of this website for me as a mom blogger, is I can connect to other brands that I may not otherwise meet through this platform. The site’s developer Brandon assured me that in the near future there will be a special area that specifically targets mom bloggers.
The only downside at this point with this website is there are a limited number of brands working with Crowdtap. But I understand more brands will be coming on soon as the popularity of the site grows. That means there will be plenty of opportunities to earn extra money, as well as discover new products before the general public. So that’s another incentive to sign up; make extra money and be the first to know what’s coming out.
Crowdtap evolved from a company called Mr. Youth, and Rep Nation. The purpose of Crowdtap is to link brands and consumers through new promotions and products. There are quick hits and new actions that allow you to sample products as well as throw house parties. Being a part of Crowdtap put you at the forefront of new products and services coming out. Essentially you be the first to know.
