Folex from Home Depot My New Carpet Cleaning Friend

This is probably an odd topic for me to be writing about, but I just had to share this amazing new product I picked up at Home Depot. My carpet was a mess and I couldn’t take it any more.

I’m not the kind of person that obsesses about keeping everything spotless but my carpet was getting out of hand. Old spills, juice stains, etc. Not what you want guest to see. Thank goodness the downstairs has hardwood floors.

So I went to Home Depot to find some heavy duty carpet cleaning solution. One of the friendly guys walked by and asked if I needed help finding something. I tell him I need carpet cleaner and he points out Folex. Now I’ve never heard of this stuff, but he assured me it would even take out old stains.

So I grab a bottle since it was only $4.99 and decide to clean the carpet the next day. Well, I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I kept reading the bottle to make sure I was following the directions correctly.

The instructions said to spray generously on the spot, agitate the area with my finger, then blot. Surely it couldn’t be that simple. But it was. The bottle even said the spots would disappear instantly. Now that seemed far fetched, but for some lighter spots that’s what happened.

I’m not sure what’s in this stuff but it works. There are no ingredients on the bottle so I can’t tell you what it contains. I do know it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals because there was no strong smell. In fact it was rather nice smelling. Almost like Frebreeze.

I knew my carpet was getting clean because the white towel I used was very dirty. Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover is my new carpet cleaning friend for sure. I’m going to go back to Home Depot to buy a couple more bottles.

I was considering calling a carpet cleaning service to come in and clean my carpet, but now I can save my money and just use this new found carpet cleaning solution.

It would take too long to try to clean the entire carpet on my hands and knees. Later I will go over the entire floor with my home steam carpet cleaner. I can use Folex in the machine too.
