Knowing CPR Can Save Your Child’s Life
Learning CPR is one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. I took a first-aid class both in high school and when I trained as a nurse assistant. Though I’ve never had to use it, I am happy that I will know what to do in case of emergency, especially with my kids.
Now that it’s hot and the pools are open, it’s even more important to have this training. You could save your child or another child with this knowledge. Fortunately, there are CPR courses available both online and in your state. If you happen to live in Georgia you can find a CPR Refresher course there as well as in all the other states.
By learning CPR you can Be a Shield for your family, friends, and neighbors. There is an affordable fee and you can learn how to save a person’s life in six steps.
If someone in your family was in need of CPR, would you know what to do? What if your child was experiencing heat exhaustion or was choking? Would you know how to help them, or would you waste precious time waiting for someone who could help? Over 70% of adults say they don’t feel comfortable administering CPR, but that can change with you.
ACLS National, a medical certification company, is promoting a CPR campaign to improve awareness and knowledge of general lifesaving skills like rescue breathing and chest compressions. Through just six easy steps you can learn how to provide CPR to an adult, child, and infant.
