Mia’s Pizza is One Fabulous Local Eatery

A couple of nights 
ago I had the pleasure of eating at Mia’s Pizza in Cumming, GA and a few other local bloggers. What a cozy place and what absolutely delicious food!
The restaurant is run by Clori and her husband, both natives of Georgia and the nicest people. Clori was our host and extended such a warm welcome. the restauant is named after their young daughter Mia. Clori’s husband had been in the restaruant business for much of his adult life and has been making food and pizza for just as long.
We had a variety of foods to order from including a variety of pizza choices, calzones, sandwiches, and delicious appetizers. We started off with the Spinach/Artichoke dip served with pizza bread chips and Mia Tomato Mop, a goat cheese and marinara combination served with garlic bread.
I ordered a Philly Steak Sub and shared a veggie calzone with a fellow blogger. Both dishes were fabulous and because all dishes are made from the freshes ingredients it was extra special. I had the opportunity to sample two or three pizza dishes and they were just as good. My favorite is the barbeque pizza. The blend of flavor was extraordinary.
We were able to sample a few desserts as well. My favorite was the Oreo Ice cream pie. Yummy!
I took a few slices home to my kids. My son only eats cheese people so I knew he wouldn’t eat any so I let my daughter take the leftover pizza to school for lunch. She told me she really enjoyed it, especially the barbeque pizza!
The night didn’t end before Clori gave us a few goodies to take and share with our readers (that means you). If you live in the Atlanta Metro area you have a chance to visit Mia’s Pizza and get discounts on special nights.
October 24 is family night out from 6-8pm. I didn’t know this but, October is National Pizza Month. To celebrate, Mia’s is introducing several new flavors of pizza like Martguerita and Barbeque. The biggest goody is I get to give away a $20 gift certificate to Mia’s Pizza! I will set up the contest rules shortly and send you the details in another post.
