Monthly Book Giveaway: Win an Autographed Copy of 100 Secrets of Successful Single Motherhood
Well ladies it’s that time again. In January I promised to give away a copy of my book, 100 Secrets of Successful Single Motherhood. Well today is the first day to enter to win.
This month I’d like to hear how you celebrate Valentines Day when you are flying solo. Do you get creative? Do you get mad? Do you just ignore it? I have my thoughts about the subject that I will post later, but for now I’d like to know what you do.
So to enter the giveaway, leave a comment telling me how you celebrate the day. There will be one winner (I’m serious this time ) who will be chosen by random number generation. The rest of the entries will be compiled and I’ll create a special ebook to give away for free.
So get all your single mom friends to come over and comment. The more we have the better the ebook will be. If you have a blog you will be able to give the book away to your readers and brag that you wrote a book (at least partly).
The entry deadline is at midnight, February 12, 2009. The winner will be announced on February 13, 2009. She will receive an autographed hard copy of the book in the mail.

Since I would really like to read your book but I’m working on being frugal I’ll give this a shot.
Right now I am with someone but that hasn’t really been the case in at least 7 years for Valentines Day. I used it to bond with my daughter on the years she is with me (Valentines Day isn’t spelled out in our CO so it depends on whose day it falls on). Anyway, she is my sweetheart (when she’s being a sweetheart that is ha!), so its easy to plan a day around us and celebrate our relationship as mother and daughter.
Often times we’ll make a heart shaped dessert, one year we made a heart shaped pizza even, the point is we do it together. We often will pick up a movie and have a slumber party in the living room (if its the weekend). I’ll also get her a small trinket of some sort that she’s wanted or I know she’ll enjoy (like funky pens or socks), she makes loads of valentienes for me out of what we have in the house.
Above all that we talk about the importance of having relationships, no not romantic ones but people who love us and what love means. These are lessons I hope she remembers when she is older and has children of her own or even is looking at romantic type love and what love really means conversations ring in her head.
Rich Single Momma,
Cool blog. I came across it on Blog Catalog when I was doing some research. Stopped and read a few of your posts. Just wanted to comment and say that I enjoyed them.
Will make sure to visit back.
Thanks,

WOW this would be a great read for me…. I am adopting and will be a single mother by choice….
I’m not a single mom but my daughter is. I came upon this and thought that this would be a great book for her. All efforts to celebrate Valentine’s Day center around her little girl.
Thanks!
I celebrate the day with my two wonderful kids. We are going to the zoo and eating out.
