Home Atlanta Local Events Oogieloves: New Rate-G Movie Adds Value and Peace of Mind for Parents...

Recently I caught up with the creator/director and the writer for a new kid’s movie called Oogiloves: A Big Balloon Adventure. The movie will come out Oogust (August) 29 in theaters nationwide. It’s not just the name that is unique but the entire project was built on one solid platform: LOVE!

It’s a great idea because in our culture today there are so many movies that are the complete opposite of love. Most incite fear and that’s just too much, too soon for little kids. They need to learn that there are good things in the world and more importantly that there is love.

A movie like this is not only entertaining but you get your money’s worth. You don’t have to worry about your kid falling asleep, though they suggest a nap before coming might be a good idea. I can’t tell you how many times my son has fallen asleep in a movie. If he had been able to get up and move around and actually play without me getting death stares, he probably would have stayed away and I would have felt like I got my money’s worth.

This is the first truly G-rated movie in years. You will not have to worry about dark themes, scary ghosts, and other scenes that could give your kids nightmares. My son, even though he’s 12 now, still asks me if a movie is scary. He doesn’t want to see scary stuff and be afraid during a movie. I’m not sure if he’d want to see Oogiloves: The Big Balloon Adventure, but if your children are 8 and under they would probably want to see it. Both of you will have peace of mind, they will have fun, and you will get your money’s worth. That’s a great deal for everyone!

The film was created by Kenn Viselman. He has a passion for bringing kid-friendly entertainment to the masses. He was involved in projects like TeleTubbies, Eloise, and the popular Thomas the Tank Engine.  Kenn is so passionate about bringing quality entertainment front and center.

The movie doesn’t just make kids more aware of love but it is also interactive, which is groundbreaking in the movie industry. Sure we have 3D movies but this kind of interactivity is on another level. Kids can actually get up and participate with the characters! No more being forced to sit through a long movie for them. They are encouraged to get up, move around, sing, and dance.

From what I understand, there will be special guest movie stars and entertainers in the movie. They include Toni Braxton, Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, and a few others).
