Step back when you are overwhelmed by life. It is better to walk away for a little while and breathe than to stay too long and overload. Know when to say when or enough is enough because your body will go into shut down mode and it is harder to recover. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself well. You deserve it and so does your children.

In print
An article I wrote appears in the May/June edition of Single Mother Magazine. This is a huge honor as the needs of single mothers are being met in print media. The cover features Angelina Jolie, actress and philanthropist. My article appears on page 60 and 100 Secrets of Successful Single Motherhood is referenced on page 76.
On the Radio
On yesterday, I received an invitation to be interviewed for the Christian organization, Focus on the Family. The topic was the influence Christian moms have on their children. The interview will possibly air this weekend so listen for it on your local Christian radio station. Visit focusonthefamily.org for a listing of radio stations.
