[Video] No Wedding No Womb (NWNW): Taking a Stand Against OOW Births
The NWNW (No Wedding No Womb) campaign is beginning to sweep the nation. The message is for women to take control of their lives, their future by taking a stand for marriage.
Organizer Christelyn D. Karazin is tired of seeing the rate of out of wedlock births in the black community continue to rise. The resulting negative statistics are staggering for babies born out of wedlock. As positive as this message is, if it doesn’t reach the hyper-hormonal masses (people between ages 12-25) it will have no affect.
To help get NWNW out to the masses, Lorraine Spenser, wrote a song, set it to a 90s beat, and got a very talented young woman who is living out the NWNW message to sing the song. Here is a video version of the song.
