Writer Guidelines

Originality:

Posts must be original pieces written for RichSingleMomma.com.

The content you submit must be original by you. They should not be reproduced anywhere else, including your own websites. You can however take an article that you have already written and modify it a bit and submit it to us for possible inclusion.

Guest Post and Sponsored Post Guidelines:

Guest Posts:

• We accept guest posts from fellow bloggers only.  “Guest posts” from companies or freelancers writing for companies are considered advertising and fall under our sponsored post guidelines (below).
• There is no minimum word count for guest posts however we encourage posts between 300-500 words.
• All posts must include at least one high quality photo of which you have the rights to use or that is creative commons for commercial use.
• A photo of yourself or your blog button for your author bio is optional.
• You may include as many links back to your own content as you would like.
• No links that contain advertising will be accepted (this includes, but is not limited to, company sites, direct sales sites, and Etsy shops).
• It is highly recommended that you share your guest post across your social networks and put a small post on your blog sending your readers over to your guest post.
• We reserve the right to refuse any posts or links within the posts based on content.
• We reserve the right to edit your post for grammar, spelling, and formatting.

 

Sponsored Post Guidelines

• Any post written with the intention to link back to a company site or a site that sells something is considered advertising and therefore requires sponsorship.
• Fees for sponsored posts are on a case by case basis.
• All sponsored posts will be disclosed as such per the FTC guidelines.
• All links in sponsored posts will be “no-follow” per Google’s guidelines.
• A maximum of 3 “no-follow” links can be included in the post (this includes links in an author bio at the end of the post)
• We reserve the right to refuse any posts or links within the posts based on content.
• We accept sponsored posts from family friendly sites only.
• We reserve the right to edit your post for grammar, spelling, and formatting.
• All sponsored content must fit the values of Rich Single Momma.
• All posts must include at least one high quality photo of which you have the rights to use or that is creative commons for commercial use.

 

Promotional Opportunities:

Posts must be non-promotional. However, in return we will provide you a 20 word promotional by-line and author page with an extended bio (Contributing writers only).

Editorial Disclaimer:

We reserve the right to decline publication of any post, article, comment that is deemed inappropriate.

We reserve the right to edit your articles for editorial reasons including modifying grammar, spelling and style. Please note: It is your responsibility to proofread your articles prior to submitting them to us.
