IOGear Mobile Charger Review
Being a family of gadgets junkies requires lots of device recharging. We have phones, tablets, laptops, and handheld games so there is almost a constant need. But there isn’t always an outlet available to recharge a dying phone or tablet. This is especially true on a road trip.
I was thrilled when I was asked to review the IOGear On the Go Charging duel mobile device charger below. The dual charger was perfect for us because we have gadgets times three.
For example, if my son gets his hands on my cell phone to play a game while we are waiting in a restaurant then I know the battery is going to be drained quickly. A charger would come in handy and I wouldn’t have to search for an outlet. The same thing can happen when I’m using my phone to take pictures and upload them to Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest. The battery gets drained quickly.
I’m happy I have this device charger now because those problems go away. It is small enough to fit in my purse so I can charge my phone on the go. I even charged my bluetooth device with it.
Overall it’s about the size of your hand and is a slim design. It retails for $79 for the duel charger and $59 for the single charger. There are two slots that can be used to charge two devices at once. There is a third slot to charge the mobile charger itself.
To charge a gadget I connect with the cord that it came with or use the cord that came with the gadget. Next I press the button located on the top of the charger. The green lights comes on so I know it is charging. There are four lights that indicate how much power the charger has. It will show all for if fully charged then go down to three, two, or one as the power is drained.
Overall I am very excited with this new toy. I show it to everyone because I think it’s so cool. Most people want to know what it is then the light bulb goes off when I explain it. I’m sure I’ll let people charge their devices if they need to because it sucks to be down to you last bar.
I can confidently recommend it to you because I’ve used it and know it’s a solid piece of gadgetry. Busy moms like us don’t have time to deal with a dead phone now do we?
I received this charger to test at no cost to me. However, the review is my honest opinion.
