As a mystery shopper you simply visit different establishments and report on how they treat you, the quality of the products, and the appearance of the establishment. The type of companies you visit varies from apartment complexes to banks to restaurants.
To become a mystery shopper you have to sign up with a few companies. Once you are on the list you will receive regular notifications. When you see something that interests you because of type, location, and time you let your appointment setter know. You follow instructions of how to do the shop, as it’s called, then fill out the paperwork.
Often you will have to pay for purchases but you are reimbursed and then receive a preset amount for doing the shop. With this side hustle you can get free food, clothes, and other merchandise.
You will not get rich as a mystery shopper but you will get to do what you love at virtually no cost to you.
